The Bible teaches us a baseline standard for giving. When we give the first fruit to the church, we put God first in our lives. Generosity is an act of worship that expresses our gratitude, faith, and love for others. We are never more like God than when we give. Every time we make a decision to be generous, we discover that our God refuses to be out-given.
But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this?
